Common Questions

Do you take my insurance?

We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Choice, Anthem, Aetna, United Healthcare (Optum), Cigna, and Carelon Behavioral Health.

If we are not in-network with your insurance plan, you may choose to self-pay. We can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so we recommend confirming your benefits directly with your insurer.

Are visits virtual or in-person?

We currently offer virtual psychiatric appointments for adults throughout Illinois.

In-person appointments are planned for the future, and we will update this page as they become available.

Who do you treat?

We work with adults seeking help for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma-related conditions, ADHD, substance use, and other psychiatric concerns.

We also work with people seeking diagnostic clarification or a second opinion, as well as those experiencing psychiatric symptoms alongside chronic or complex medical conditions.

What can I expect at my first visit?

Your first visit is focused on getting to know you and understanding the full picture—your current symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, previous treatments, medications, and goals.

Together, we will discuss our initial impressions and begin developing an individualized treatment plan. Depending on your needs, treatment may include medications, psychotherapy, lifestyle changes, neuromodulation, or a combination of approaches.

Can I schedule a consultation for a second opinion?

Yes. We see patients seeking a second opinion about a diagnosis, medication regimen, or treatment plan, particularly when symptoms are complex or previous treatments have not worked as expected.

How do I request an appointment?

You can request an appointment through our online booking or by contacting us directly. We’ll follow up to confirm details, answer questions, and help you prepare for your first visit.
